Due Passi cafe restaurant branding
Category: Café Restaurant Branding
Due Passi has established itself as a friendly local Italian-style café since it opened its doors in 2017. The owners approached Mela Creative to create a brand for their new café venture near the water’s edge in Abbotsford.
Creating a brand strategy
We developed a brand strategy for the café’s modern and edgy approach to Italian food. The name and logo created by Mela Creative reflect the personal service of Gus, who wanted to bring the food culture of the back streets of Rome, where he grew up, to his new local community. Due Passi means “close by” in colloquial Italian.
Designing a striking brand identity
The contemporary black and white logo includes a pedestrian crossing icon to capture the feeling of local community – a place to walk to for your morning coffee or a lazy lunch.
Shop Signage to create atmosphere
We worked with Gus to create a fun, inviting atmosphere in the café with a full wall mural that looks like you are on the back streets of Rome as well as branded signage and menus.
Simple website
Due Passi wanted an online presence but did not require a complicated website. We designed and developed a simple wordpress website with downloadable menus. The café also needed help setting up their social media, so we managed their digital marketing for 6 months to get them started.
Mela Creative started from scratch with our business, we didn’t even have a name! Mela helped us with our complete branding package, from our name to our logo and everything in-between which ultimately shaped our business. Working with them was easy and fun, there was a lot of communication and ideas were carefully considered, nothing was done without thought for the future and where we wanted our business to go. The branding Mela Creative designed for our business is fresh and clean working for us not only today but well into the future. Thanks again!”
